Counseling

I need to change something, but where do I start?
I feel out of (inner) balance. What now?
I feel trapped. How do I free myself again?
I have some options, am I making the „right“ decision?

Sometimes it doesn’t take much to clear one’s head.
Sometimes NOW is a good moment for the first step.

Mediation

Conflicts are inevitable. I offer guidance on addressing them constructively. Mediation is a structured process of conflict resolution in which an impartial third party = the mediator assists the parties involved in reaching an agreement acceptable to both sides. Mediation can also be used preventively when important unresolved questions need to be discussed together.

«The real voyage
of discovery
consists not
in seeking new landscapes,
but to see it with
different eyes.»

Marcel Proust

Counseling

As part of the counseling process, I support individuals with personal or workplace-related issues. For example, guiding them to:

  • Achieve their goals
  • Make decisions
  • overcome challenges (whether they are personal or workplace-related)

Through the solution- and resource-oriented counseling method, you will learn to utilize your own strengths and resources.
Sessions take place in my office in Pratteln or online.

Mediation

Mediation is suitable for situations where future interaction is crucial or where parting ways needs to be fair, solution-oriented, and considerate of the interests and needs of all parties involved.

Within this framework, agreements can be made that ideally take into account the interests and needs of the parties involved, without the need for a judicial decision. Thus, mediation is an out-of-court, usually voluntary process. I support you in developing a sustainable agreement or solution, tailored to you, fostering personal responsibility and forward-looking perspectives.
Where necessary and desired by the parties, experts (trustees, lawyers, etc.) are engaged.

Mediation is suitable in both private and professional contexts, including but not limited to, the following areas:

  • Workplace dynamics and team conflicts
  • Family matters, including children, relationship, separation, divorce
  • Neighborhood disputes
  • Political conflicts

Psychosocial counseling is not therapy

As a counselor and mediator, I explicitly do not offer therapy. Counseling is not a substitute for psychotherapeutic treatment. If it is determined during counseling that there is a need for medical or therapeutic intervention, I will discuss the next steps with you.
